Posting & Returns
Posting policy
We always aim to post all of our items within two working days of payment and they shall be sent with a traceable delivery service. We will notify our customers and provide the tracking details of your item upon dispatch. This allows both we the sender and you the customer to track the progress of the delivery and provides us with a confirmation of delivery when you receive your item, therefore proving a more reliable service. Please be aware the majority of our items, are quite large and heavy - but we always try to use the best value services to keep your costs down.
If you have not received your item within 14 working days of cleared payment then you should contact us as your item may be lost in the post, in which case we can contact the courier or mailing service and organise an insurance claim, if the item turns out to have been lost, a full refund will be given. Please be aware that all our items will be sent with traceable delivery, so if the customer has signed for, taken delivery of personally, by a neighbour or has been left at the premises then we will consider the item as received.
EU & International customers
We do post to overseas destinations so if you would like a postage quote for a particular item(s) we can provide them.
We do currently offer the option to purchase through the website for the UK, Ireland and USA, however we will need to obtain quotes for other destinations.
Returns policy
Please be aware that the majority of our items are vintage and have been made bespoke therefore may not conform to usual sizing; subsequently we have provided customers with approximate measurements of each garment - this is just a guide and although we try to be as accurate as possible there may be slight errors (or differences depending on the exact point of measurement). We want you to be happy with your item so if it does not fit, or its simply not for you, you can return it within 14 days. We do not refund postage. These items are often VINTAGE sporting goods therefore wear and signs of age should be expected, we aim to point out any areas of imperfection on each item and photographs are available so that the customer can decide the importance of any defects for themselves, if in the case upon receiving the item you notice any significant defects which we have not mentioned please notify us immediately and we can arrange a full refund upon the safe return of the item (in the condition it was sent in, any signs of wear may result in a cleaning charge of £15) if the customer desires - alternatively, an appropriate discount can be offered. However, be aware that we keep a large portfolio of photographs which accurately document the condition of each of our items therefore if we feel any damage or wear has been inflicted by the customer we will NOT offer a refund and the customer will have to pay an additional postage fee to get the item back to them, or it will stay with us and be re-advertised after 14 days of its return. If we believe an item has been damaged in the post, again you must contact us immediately and we can report it to the courier/postal service to claim on insurance, we will offer a refund upon the safe return of the item.

The Hunt Room encourages all riders to always wear a fitted, strapped hat which conforms to current British safety standards, and warns of the dangers of not doing so. However, if riders choose not to, this is solely upon the choice of the rider and any injuries or accidents which occur due to the riders choice (to wear or use any of our items) are not in any way the responsibility of The Hunt Room nor its proprietors.
